Canberra Weekly – Editorial Layout & Advertising Design
Canberra Weekly is a widely circulated lifestyle magazine featuring local news, events, fashion, food, home, and real estate content. As part of the design team, the role focused on producing consistent, high-quality editorial layouts and managing advertising assets across both print and digital formats.
Alongside layout design, a big part of the work involved creating ads for a wide range of local Canberra clients—everything from small businesses and real estate agents to event organisers and retail brands. Each ad was tailored to suit the client’s needs while staying within the magazine’s visual style. Projects often required quick turnarounds, adapting different brand assets, and balancing creative design with clear messaging to make the ads stand out on the page and online.
